Director / Podiatrist

With over 20 years of experience in podiatry , Matt Cavanagh
brings extensive experience to his practice, having dedicated the last 20 years
to serving the community of Rockhampton. Born and raised in Brisbane, Matt
pursued his higher education at the Queensland University of Technology (QUT),
where he successfully graduated with a Bachelor of Health Science in Podiatry
in 2002.

Initially, Matt's professional journey commenced in
Barcaldine in 2003, thanks to a rural scholarship from Queensland Health. Later
that year, he was relocated to Rockhampton where he further enriched his
experience with Queensland Health's public system. However, in 2007, Matt
decided to embark on a new journey, resigning from Queensland Health to begin
private consultations full-time. He leveraged the facilities at Hillcrest
Hospital in Rockhampton and their specialist centre in Emerald for his
practice.

As a further testament to his dedication to serving regional
communities, since July 2013, Matt has been operating from his dedicated clinic
on Denham Street. This move has enabled him to consult more frequently in
Rockhampton, reinforcing his ongoing commitment to his patients and the broader
community.
